Shop & Ship

Shop & Ship is Aramex’s international package forwarding service. Members get a local address in dozens of countries, buy from stores there, and have their packages consolidated and forwarded home. The work covered the core customer product: the dashboard, address management, shipments, navigation, account settings, and the mobile experience.

Flowform led product design, UX and UI, across the redesigned workflows, working with the Shop & Ship product and engineering teams.

Shop & Ship was being integrated with its main partner’s backend, and the product had to be reshaped to fit that platform’s structure so every piece of functionality was supported. The existing product made that harder than it should have been: a dated UI, fragmented flows, inconsistent UX and UI from screen to screen, consolidation and customs steps that were hard to follow, and a weak mobile experience.

We mapped the Shop & Ship product onto the partner platform’s structure, flow by flow, so every screen fit the infrastructure it would run on and nothing depended on functionality the backend could not support. Then we redid the entire navigation and user architecture from the ground up, and reworked the key workflows end to end: the package dashboard, managing addresses across countries, creating and tracking shipments, and account settings, with desktop and mobile treated as one system.

Rather than stopping at static screens, we used Claude to build a working interactive prototype of the redesigned product. It let the team validate the flows with real interaction, showed engineering exactly how states and transitions should behave, and closed most of the gap between design intent and what got built.

A more fluid, consistent, and pleasant interface that gives members clear visibility into where each package is and what happens next. Underneath the surface, the UX changes were built for scale: they support Shop & Ship expanding into new shipping locations and adding member programs without the product fragmenting again.
